The Bat Caravan initiative is created and organized by our most active volunteer, Ana Stamatescu, with the support of the Centre for Bat Research and Conservation (CBRC).

The Bat Caravan aims to organize a marathon of free non-formal workshops in 2023 through which 3,000+ pupils from 50+ public schools will discover the fascinating world of bats. They will also discover with the help of robots how essential bats are in our lives and how we can protect them.

The initiative was developed within the Aspen Institute Romania Young Leaders Program 2022 and is aimed especially at primary and secondary school pupils from public schools in Romania.

Support the Bat Caravan to reach as many pupils as possible in 2023!

To help the Bat Caravan reach as many pupils  as possible (and cover the necessary costs: robots, workshop materials, transport costs, gifts for students such as stickers and 3D printed bats), you can also help with an individual donation.

And if you represent a company and want to help the Caravan’s activity with a sponsorship, you can contact us at contact@lilieci.ro.

To keep up to date with the activities of the Caravan, you can follow the Bat Caravan on Facebook and/or the website dedicated to the Caravan.

You can also follow the CBRC pages on Facebook or Instagram.

Thank you!
